Jamboard comes with two custom stylus pens, a digital eraser, a touch interface, a camera, Wi-Fi connection, speakers, and a 4K resolution.

 

Google is pushing teamwork to the cloud and is doing so via a new digital whiteboard.  With a 55-inch, 4K, digital whiteboard on wheels, Jamboard was built to encourage brainstorming and real-time collaboration among business people, both in person and remotely.

“We’ve set out to redefine meetings,” TJ Varghese, Jamboard product manager, wrote in a blog post introducing the whiteboard.

Jamboard ties into Google’s cloud-based productivity-oriented G Suite of apps (Gmail, Drive, Groups, Calendar, Hangouts, Keep, Sites). Until recently, G Suite was known as Google Apps for Work.

Jamboard can recognize handwriting and the shapes that people draw and includes various tools such as on-screen sticky notes and stencils
