Google Maps has been adding features that let you easily navigate to places, and at times, reminds you about the place that may get closed by the time you reach it, etc. Now Google announced a new feature to help you remember where you’re leaving your car once you’ve arrived at the destination.
All that Android users have to do is tap the blue dot and then tap “Save your parking” to add their parking location to the map.
Tapping the pin label to open a pane where you can set a reminder to pay the parking meter, snap a picture of your parking space, share your car’s location or just jot down some parking notes.
Once done with the parking location, users can return to that screen to clear it. Bear in mind that by adding a new parking reminder the previous one will be automatically deleted.
On iOS, the new Google Maps feature works in almost the same way.
