While we are all very used to using most of the Office suite of programs as stand alone software, many forget that with cloud based subscriptions the ability to work with your Office documents, email, and calendar inside of a modern web browser is a very viable alternative to separately installed software.

Microsoft announced changes coming to Office.com. The update has started rolling out and will continue through early 2017.

With the latest update, the Office.com homepage now displays the most frequently used apps more prominently. Over time, Office 365 will learn and adjust the ordering based on the consumer’s individual usage.

The update makes it easier for users to get an in-depth view of the day’s meetings and respond to or join Skype calls with one click. Users can also create, view and complete tasks on Office.com that sync across Outlook on all devices.

Office.com provides users with access to their Office 365 apps and content anywhere and on practically any device that supports a modern web browser.
