If you use the Google app to make presentations for your work or studies, you will now have a new option to enrich your project. If the video you want to add isn’t published on Youtube or you want to add a more personal movie? In the next few days, the option to add videos stored on your Google Drive will be rolling out to users.

You only have to go to “Insert” and choose the option “Google Unit”. Once we have added it to the presentation, we will see options to customize its reproduction.

You can now insert Google Drive videos in Google Slides on the web

Just bear in mind that if the person who is watching the presentation does not have our authorization to see the video within the presentation, then he/she will have to request the corresponding permissions.

This new option will be available in the coming weeks, Google announces. So you’ll want to hold your breath if you don’t see it yet.
