While we are all waiting for this coronavirus crisis to come to an end, Google has decided to make our business easier, since lots of companies are impacted by travel restrictions and have workers working remotely. The news is that Hangouts Meet premium features will be extended to all G Suite customers until July 1, 2020. Features like meetings for up to 250 participants per call, live streaming for up to 100K viewers within the domain and recording meetings to Google Drive are typically only available in the Enterprise editions of G Suite, but they’ll be available to all G Suite editions at no additional cost.
“As more employees, educators, and students work remotely in response to the spread of COVID-19, we want to do our part to help them stay connected and productive,” Google wrote in a blog post.
