In December when things sometimes get a tad bit crazier, make the most of the time you do have. Here’s how you can save time.

If you find yourself in a jam caused by an accident or construction, Google Maps lets you know how long you’ll be at a standstill and automatically re-routes you if there’s a faster path.

Read more on the Google Maps blog.  But what to do with the extra time on your hands? Go see what fun it is to live in the Santa Village (we call the the Clausland). There you can visit the brand-new Santa’s Village every day to prep alongside the elves, test weather conditions with Rudolph, skydive with Santa, learn about holiday traditions like kallikántzari—little creatures from Greece that eat Christmas cookies—and much more. A new experience will appear each morning leading up to December 24.

And last but not the least – believe it or not—indoor Christmas lights can affect the performance of Wi-Fi routers. Christmas lights (along with a variety of other household lights and electronics) can cause diminished Wi-Fi performance due to unshielded wires causing interference. The same problem can also be caused by microwaves, baby monitors, poorly installed home wiring, or a number of other culprits.
