Referring to “IoT” one of the more legitimate “buzzwords” in the industry, Amazon Web Services introduced a new Internet of Things service – Analytics.

IoT data can be hard to deal with, since devices often don’t produce structured data, and they’re often in motion with intermittent connectivity. With this service, a customer defines the analytics channel and selects data they want stored.

AWS IoT Analytics also has features for more sophisticated analytics, like statistical inference, enabling customers to understand the performance of devices, predict device failure, and perform time-series analysis.

With AWS IoT Analytics, companies gain insights into IoT data about device performance and usage patterns.
