Recently, Google’s been hot in delivering better protection for the work you do online.

Today, the company announced  it would roll out an advanced protection program in order to provide better security for users such as government officials and journalists who are at a higher risk of being targeted by hackers.

Users who opt in to the advanced security program will have their account security continuously updated to thwart emerging threats across the web.

The program will focus on three core defenses to start: defending against phishing, protecting sensitive data from accidental sharing, and blocking fraudulent account access, Google said in the blogpost today.
